 biography  Sophia Lawrence was born in 1950 in a small town, and by 1965, she was already making her mark in the local music scene. With her brown hair and eyes that seemed to reflect the complexity of her soul, Sophia was a 15-year-old girl who carried the weight of her troubled family life with grace. A small scar on her lip was a reminder of the struggles she had faced growing up, yet it didn’t define her. Instead, she became known for her vibrant personality, her outgoing nature, and her ability to connect with people easily. She joined a local band as the main vocalist and one of the guitarists, and music quickly became her way to express the deep emotions she couldn’t share with anyone else. The rhythm and melodies became her language, her therapy, her rebellion.
At the weekends she would meet her friends, they usually walked around town, drank and stood up until 5 am in the morning. That was her favourite king of weekends.
